LEED® Experience

MAPP Construction is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Our membership with the USGBC signifies MAPP’s commitment to environmentally sustainable building techniques. The USGBC logo is now attached to all job site signs and included in all print ads. In addition to seeking out LEED® certified projects, MAPP is taking additional steps to be more environmentally friendly such as the office recycling program and the use of recycled paper and plant-based inks for all marketing materials.

MAPP Construction is proud to have many professionals that make environmentally friendly construction practices a top priority.  Among its staff are many LEED® Accredited professionals, as well as several Green Advantage® Certified professionals.

MAPP Construction made great strides in its efforts to go green with the completion of the Chevron Northpark project located in Covington, Louisiana. This project was MAPP’s first LEED® Gold Certified project for both Chevron Corporation and the state of Louisiana.

Ernst & Young Victory Park, located in Dallas, Texas, is another green project that MAPP recently completed and has earned LEED® Gold Certification.

Additionally, MAPP’s Aveda Institute project in Dallas, Texas also involved green building techniques, ranging from Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) management, to the extensive recycling of construction materials. While this project’s owners have chosen not to pursue LEED® certification, MAPP was happy to contribute to their goal of an environmentally friendly project.

Continuously developing and adhering to novel methods of sustainable construction and business practices allows MAPP Construction stay ahead of its competition, and to practice its motto of “Thinking Ahead. Driving the Industry.”
