The MAPP Construction story began in Baton Rouge in 1991, when Michael Polito established a true alternative to traditional construction companies. Armed with seven years' experience with three large contractors in the Southeastern United States, Polito quickly set about assembling a team of aggressive new talent and experienced industry veterans to make his vision a reality. After a rapid-fire series of early successes, MAPP quickly became a sought-after commodity with a growing reputation. The company's watershed moment, however, came in 1993, when it was awarded the extensive $30 million Catfish Town Renovation project in Baton Rouge. More than a decade and scores of successful projects later, MAPP Construction has firmly established itself as a regional leader. Our philosophy, die-hard work ethic and strict attention to both budget and workmanship have proven to be an unbeatable combination-essential, we feel, to maintaining a competitive edge in the complex, changing construction industry.
